You’re invited

We have a wonderful invitation for you—to prepare for a special Marian consecration, the Covenant of Love with Mary here at the Schoenstatt Shrine. *The Covenant is an exchange of hearts with Mary, where you entrust your life to her as Queen, Mother and Educator, inviting her to educate you on your everyday path to holiness and deepen your bond with Christ.*

We will gather on Sundays during the Month of Mary, May, at 12:00 pm at the Movement House. The first three Sundays will be preparation meetings, and we will conclude on Sunday, May 26, with the covenant ceremonies at noon. The meetings will be bilingual. So… don't miss out on this invitation, the four Sundays of May to consecrate ourselves to Mary here at the Shrine. Interested individuals can sign up at the hospitality table or fill out the form below.

What is the Schoenstatt Consecration (Covenant of Love)?

  1. The Covenant of Love is Schoenstatt’s founding act of 1914, the moment when Fr. Kentenich and the founding generation offered their striving for sanctity and asked Mary to come to dwell in their chapel (the Schoenstatt Shrine), transforming it into a place of pilgrimage and their “cradle of sanctity.”

  2. It is the act of consecration (as individuals, a couple, or a community) to Mary as Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt (also known as the Schoenstatt Consecration).

  3. It is a recognized form of Marian consecration in the Church. Like other forms of consecration to Mary, it consists of the total gift of self to Mary. Fr. Kentenich characterized Marian consecration as a total and mutual exchange of hearts, goods, and interests. The Schoenstatt consecration was always understood as a mutual covenant between Mary and those who consecrated themselves to her in the Shrine.
